Job Summary
Director of Philanthropy position focusing on developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies for Friends of Youth. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in fundraising and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human-service or business-related field or minimum of 10 years of relevant experience can be substituted
- Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing major gifts, donor relationships/stewardship, corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and fund development
- Demonstrated experience in and understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and systemic antiracism, as it relates to Development and the strategic vision of an organization
- Experience utilizing donor databases and online fundraising tools. Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred.
