Director, Performance, Accountability and Funding Allocation

Job Summary
Lead the performance, accountability and funding allocation function for Ontario Health across the West Region, including development and implementation of performance and accountability responsibilities, monitoring performance against priorities, negotiating targets with providers, and driving regional and local system improvements; provide leadership to Performance, Accountability and Funding Allocation staff, build trusted relationships with providers and stakeholders, and collaborate on coordinated strategies to deliver high-quality, equitable care for Ontarians; requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent), CPA designation, and at least 10 years of relevant health-administration leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in health administration, health planning, business administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience in a health care environment
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including 5 years of experience leading, developing, and supporting teams via projects, programs and/or people leadership
- CPA designation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with leaders, staff, partners and stakeholders across Ontario Health
- Experience leading facilitation and negotiation with multiple stakeholders and service providers
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with community, local and provincial governments, health service providers and others
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting performance data, including financial/statistical data and quality indicators
- Experience in risk management and change management skills
