Job Summary

Partner with the COO and senior leadership to shape the people strategy supporting illumin's transformation into a product-led company. Act as a trusted advisor across the business to strengthen organizational design, talent management, and leadership effectiveness while navigating change and growth. Coach managers and senior leaders on performance, development, and engagement, then assess existing programs to design and implement initiatives that align people practices with business outcomes. Lead the People and Operations team to drive clarity, remove obstacles, and ensure the function delivers an exceptional employee experience. Work hybrid, reporting to the COO with an in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in downtown Toronto.

Required Qualifications

  • HR business partnering experience
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders in a technology, SaaS, digital media, or high-growth environment
  • Understanding of how to align people strategies with business priorities
  • Confidence to advise leaders on organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance
  • Leadership and coaching capability
  • Experience as a trusted advisor who builds credibility quickly
  • Comfort supporting leaders through both opportunities and challenges
  • Experience coaching managers
  • Experience strengthening leadership effectiveness
