Job Summary
Director of the Peninsula Market at Langley Federal Credit Union oversees the Peninsula region (Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg and surrounding towns) with responsibility for developing strategic direction for sales and service to grow loan and share balances, building and executing an annual sales and service plan, assisting member-facing staff to meet budgeted goals, recruiting and training a qualified sales/service team, acting as liaison between senior management and front-line managers, analyzing markets and competitor products, maintaining product knowledge, reviewing results and advising on course corrections, directing branch-level member service teams to maximize member relationships, ensuring timely distribution of marketing materials, collaborating with Marketing on new products/promotions, representing the credit union at trade and community events, and ensuring compliance with regulation changes (including BSA). Requires a bachelor’s degree, four years of financial-institution experience, and seven years of supervisory experience; the role is full-time and on-site in Newport News, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Four years of experience in a financial institution, sales or service experience advising customers when choosing between options, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Seven years of supervisory experience required.
