Director, Payer Strategy

Director-level leadership role to set the overarching payer strategy for Babylist Health across Medicaid and commercial payers, lead senior-level payer relationships, and define market-entry pathways including acquisitions and third-party contracting. Manages a team of three (Head of Medicaid Market Development, commercial payer lead, and payer operations specialist), partners with Finance to model ROI and plan timelines, and represents Babylist Health to external payer partners and at industry forums. Drives payer policy, advocacy, and strategic guidance on which states to prioritize, how to sequence market entry, and how to scale payer programming beyond core DME contracting. Works in a remote-first environment across the United States and Canada, with responsibilities spanning strategic leadership, contract quality, and operational readiness to ensure signed contracts are billable by go-live date.
