Job Summary
Drive Alexion's patient access strategy for all US approved products by overseeing Financial Assistance, Free Drug, and Reimbursement programs from design through implementation. Lead the Patient Access Strategy team, manage vendor oversight, and align strategic programs with brand objectives and commercial goals. Collaborate with Market Access, Legal, and Government Affairs to develop compliant access tactics for new product launches and monitor evolving US healthcare environments. Establish cross-functional partnerships to ensure patients have therapy access while maintaining strict compliance with AstraZeneca values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience
- 5+ years of Patient Services experience
- 5+ years of Reimbursement and Financial Assistance experience
- Leadership and cross-functional partnership experience
- Experience using critical thinking to align corporate strategies and current challenges to develop recommendations
- Understanding of evolving laws for financial assistance and free drug programs
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills

- time management and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to work independently
