Job Summary
Director of Nursing overseeing home health clinical services and leading nursing staff. Responsibilities include coordinating direct and indirect patient services, guiding clinical supervisors, managing budgeting and resources, ensuring compliance with local/state/federal regulations and Joint Commission home care standards, developing and evaluating staff orientation and education programs, and promoting high-quality, patient- and family-centered care within a home health and hospice setting.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Master’s degree in health care preferred
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization, at least with one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Must have Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
