Job Summary
DIRECTOR OF PASSPORT DATA is responsible for running data reports on payments to contracted human services and administrative directed vendors through the PASSPort portal. Will supervise a team of PASSPort Payment and Efficiency Specialists, perform analytics tasks, extract/transform/load data from PASSPort, MS Access, Power BI, and other sources, validate data, conduct analyses to improve prompt payments, and prepare monthly analytic reports and ad hoc data requests. Will provide training, ensure timely and accurate payments, liaise between ACS divisions, city agencies, vendors and partners, and collaborate with Payments and research teams to advance data-driven initiatives. Requires strong quantitative analytical skills and coding familiarity, ability to present complex topics clearly, and experience with data systems and reporting tools. Typical duties include data extraction, cleaning, validation, reporting, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, with emphasis on data quality, timeliness of payments, and policy-related reporting to executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of: budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal management; management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area (18 months of this experience in executive/managerial capacity) OR a baccalaureate degree and four years of professional experience in the areas described, including the 18 months as executive/managerial experience.
