Job Summary
Director or AVP of Portfolio Management & Operations sought to partner with senior leadership to drive operating performance, capital efficiency, and portfolio strategy across a Bay Area lab portfolio. Responsibilities include budgeting and CAM reconciliations, leading monthly financial reviews, coordinating leasing support and operational initiatives, managing maintenance and capex, driving community engagement, tenant satisfaction, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, leasing, and property management. The role emphasizes strategic initiatives, asset repositioning, and presenting portfolio performance to executive leadership. Requires 10+ years in asset management/operations in healthcare/lab real estate, strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, exceptional communication, and ability to travel ~10%. Base salary $250,000–$275,000 plus incentives; located in Brisbane, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of asset management or operations experience in lab, healthcare real estate, or related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to drive NOI growth through occupancy, expense management, and capital deployment
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Large team leadership experience
- Strong PowerPoint, financial modeling, and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
