Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization and liaise with executive management to make decisions for operational activities. Develop long- and short-range planning, policies, programs, and objectives while leading project teams to meet individual customer needs. Direct department managers in achieving goals consistent with established policies and safety procedures, and identify changes to improve productivity and reduce costs across business units. Lead multi-operating unit teams to complete major projects across various service territories and develop new client bases centered on technical requirements. This Director role supports Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group's turnkey service capabilities for energy infrastructure, requiring extensive experience in the power delivery industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field
- 10+ years' experience in Operational Management overseeing/managing major projects in the power delivery industry
- ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work
- 5+ years' experience managing employees
- Ability to manage/supervise other team members effectively
- Strong problem evaluation/solving skills
- Strong team building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Travel: Yes
- Percent of Time: Up to 50%
