The Director of Operations leads the manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree is required
- Ten or more years of relevant experience, including experience working in Continuous Improvement, Quality, and Warehousing functions
- Strong financial literacy and the ability to manage the P&L of the plant
- Solid knowledge of general manufacturing operations regulations, processes, and procedures, including relevant safety regulations and procedures
- Understanding of the equipment used at the plant
- Understanding of the legal, regulatory, and HR issues that surround managing people
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to create, manage and motivate a high-performing team
- Ability to resolve complex problems and develop and implement processes to prevent future occurrences
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize resources
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Business Management, or a related field
