Job Summary
Director Operations Management role leading multi-disciplinary telecom field and office operations across engineering, construction, fulfillment, and logistics. Responsible for operational leadership, KPI monitoring (safety, quality, productivity, project completion, customer satisfaction, workforce performance, financial results), customer relationship management with MSOs and key clients, supporting bidding/pricing/forecasting/growth, cross-functional partnership for safety, finance, HR, fleet, warehouse, dispatch, engineering, and compliance. Travel 50-75%; require bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) or equivalent experience, 10+ years in telecom/utility ops with 5+ in senior leadership; strong project management, leadership, and analytical skills; focus on safety culture, regulatory compliance, risk management, and executive-level leadership with an emphasis on building high-performing teams and aligning operations with customer and contractual expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred) or relevant experience
- 10+ years of telecom, utility, or infrastructure operations experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects and distributed teams
- Strong knowledge of telecom construction and installation methods
- Visionary leadership experience with the ability to build and scale high-performing teams
- A deep understanding of field operations, safety protocols, and client expectations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in project management software, database management, and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- Willing to perform jobsite visits in varied weather and environmental conditions
- Travel expectations for this role are approximately 50%-75% of the year
