Job Summary
Director, Operations & Maintenance lead for solar/storage O&M across hundreds of assets. Manage lifecycle asset performance, data strategy and systems for asset analytics, and cross-functional coordination with Construction Management, Engineering, and Finance to ensure seamless asset handoffs from construction to operations. Oversee service providers for planned/unplanned activities, negotiate high-value O&M contracts and manage RMA processes for faulty BESS hardware. Strengthen stakeholder relationships with landowners, contractors, and internal asset management teams. Must bring 8+ years in solar/storage O&M or asset management, deep understanding of BESS tech and solar equipment, proficiency with monitoring platforms (DAS) such as AlsoEnergy and SolarEdge, budgeting/contract negotiation experience, and a proven leadership track record. Excellent communication and customer-service mindset for internal and external stakeholders. Engineering background and familiarity with PVsyst, Helioscope, or storage modeling software are preferred.
