Job Summary

Own the Michigan market launch from strategy through execution, setting the operating plan and adjusting quickly to real-time field and commercial conditions. Build and lead cross-functional regional teams across construction, engineering, operations, customer install, and support, driving accountability and tight coordination. Deliver the network on schedule and on budget while holding the line on quality, safety, and compliance. Own the market P&L, allocate capital for highest returns, and track performance against forecasts to implement cost controls without impacting customer experience. Serve as the lead for municipal relationships across the region, building partnerships with city leadership and acting as the primary point for escalations. Establish the reporting cadence for the region, using production and financial data to measure performance and course-correct early.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Five – ten years of senior-level operations management experience in a high-growth, complex environment
  • Proven track record of leadership in driving operational performance and growth
  • Experience preferably in fiber-optic telecommunications or a related industry (e.g., construction, utilities, or logistics)
  • In-depth understanding of fiber-optic network operations and industry best practices across construction, engineering, and service delivery
  • Strong knowledge of municipal permitting processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Broad understanding of key business functions (sales, community engagement, construction, network operations, customer support, etc.)
  • Ability to develop clear regional strategies aligned with corporate goals and translate them into effective operational plans
  • Proficiency in budgeting and full P&L management
  • Ability to allocate resources effectively and implement cost controls while supporting growth
  • Strong project leadership skills to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent people management skills – able to recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to foster talent development, accountability, and a positive, collaborative work culture
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Capability to represent Ezee Fiber in executive meetings, community forums, and customer interactions
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Skill in interpreting operational and financial data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement

  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
