Director of Youth Programming

Job Summary
Lead daily operations of school-age youth programming, including afterschool and Camp CHOICE, by supervising staff, developing schedules, and coordinating logistics for space, transportation, and meals. Serve as the primary contact for families regarding attendance, activities, and behavioral concerns while monitoring quality, engagement, and safety compliance. Foster an inclusive environment that ensures safe staff-to-youth ratios and uninterrupted programming. Maintain accurate records and reports to support organizational goals and grant requirements. This role requires five years of leadership experience, three years of supervision, and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Youth Development, Recreation, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience leading youth programming, afterschool programs, camps, or similar community-based programs
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
