Job Summary
Lead the wound care team by overseeing daily operations, evaluating staffing needs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Develop departmental policies, monitor quality metrics, and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and hospital administration while fostering staff engagement and professional development through collaborative interdisciplinary efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) certification (or equivalent, if applicable) in good standing
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of progressive supervisory or management experience in wound care
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an acute care, rehabilitation, or post-acute healthcare setting
