Job Summary
Implement and develop programming for the Essential Piece Enterprises Workforce Training Center, overseeing Job Coaches supporting students in the Cafe, Shirt Branding Studio, Shipping/Receiving Center, and Tech Studio. Direct and oversee DDD-funded adult programming including Adult Support Employment, Adult Day Services, and external internships with industry partners. Ensure compliance with Division of Developmental Disabilities regulations while collaborating with the Phoenix Main Campus team to support high school students in internal internships. Train staff, create budgets to ensure business solvency, and coordinate transportation for external placements. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding program goals and consult on job and college applications. Provide data for DDD and WIOA grants. Full-time in-person role (8 AM to 5 PM) with a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 DOE.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in transition and/or workforce programming for older students and adults with moderate to severe disabilities
- Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance
- Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with parents, co-workers, and professional contacts following AZACS guidelines
- Track record of leadership and ability to work independently to coordinate multiple tasks
- Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with adult workforce programming/vocational experience programming
- Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Full-time in-person hours (8 AM to 5 PM) during scheduled work days
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in structured teaching, center-based model preferred
