Job Summary
Directs YMCA wellness operations across multiple programs, mentors and develops Wellness Directors and frontline staff, shapes and expands wellness programming, collaborates with branch leadership to implement association-wide initiatives, and leads strategic, data-driven improvements to member experiences and safety. Responsibilities include leading staffing, budgets, program growth, facility operations, risk management, and performance metrics; ensuring compliance with policies; coordinating with multiple departments; and supporting emergency response and safety. Requires strategic leadership, strong coaching and communication skills, and ability to analyze data to improve operations and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, Public Health, Recreation Management, or a related field.
