Job Summary
The Director of Unaccompanied Children's Shelter will manage programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational systems related to children's care, focusing on compliance with regulations and improving service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid Administrator’s Certificate issued by CDSS
- A Master of Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree
- 5 years experience in child welfare administration or child protective services
- 2 years of experience in program management or as director of a licensed child care program
- 2 years of experience post licensure required
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Experience in trauma-informed care
Additional Requirements
- Ability to commute to various sites on and off campus
- Available during evenings and weekends for emergencies
