Job Summary
Oversee the daily coordination of the TRIO Student Support Services grant project, including administering the program budget, authorizing federal expenditures, and ensuring full compliance with USDOE rules. Direct the implementation of recruitment and persistence plans, manage student caseloads, and develop Student Education Plans while maintaining accurate program data for audits and performance reporting. Supervise project staff, train employees, and handle hiring, performance appraisals, and complaint resolution. Lead the completion of Annual Performance Reports, coordinate data analysis for continuous improvement, and facilitate program-sponsored events to foster institutional engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in educational leadership, education, administrative guidance and counseling, developmental education, counseling, social work, human services, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of direct experience in collegiate student services or in the delivery of social services to disadvantaged populations
- Supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of personnel supervision and budget management
- Evidence of strong personnel management skills and fiscal/administrative experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- General knowledge of federal government regulations
