Job Summary
Director of Training - Welding leads faculty and student success by overseeing curriculum, training, assessment, and compliance; responsible for recruiting and developing instructors, enhancing retention, coordinating with admissions, conducting faculty development and evaluations, and ensuring a standards-based program aligned with ACCSC requirements. Responsibilities include managing syllabi, lesson plans, curriculum updates, coordinating PAC meetings, coordinating in-services and recruiting events, supporting Canvas-based hybrid instruction and online gradebooks, advising students, maintaining instructor performance metrics, leading faculty recruitment and onboarding, conducting quarterly faculty surveys, and driving student retention initiatives. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and substantial instructional leadership experience; familiarity with Max Knowledge, Interplay/OcuWeld, NFT101, and CourseKey is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
- minimum two years’ experience in related field
- For non-degree granting institutions, educational background equal to or exceeding the maximum credential offered by the school
- For degree-granting institutions, earned degree at least one level higher than the highest degree offered by the school
