Job Summary

Oversee and optimize the Learning Management System to ensure 100% compliance across 20+ locations, while auditing and updating Standard Operating Procedures for Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations. Lead the training task force for all new store openings to guarantee seamless transitions from training mode to steady-state operations. Refine the Manager-in-Training program to reduce turnover and shorten time to productivity, identifying high-potential hourly employees for succession into salaried leadership roles. Facilitate executive workshops on soft skills including emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and financial literacy. Tie training initiatives to Key Performance Indicators such as labor cost, food waste, Glassdoor ratings, and guest satisfaction scores, managing the annual training budget to ensure high-impact delivery. Design a comprehensive "Day 1" onboarding experience that instills brand values and integrates safety principles into all training materials. Report directly to the COO, managing the Training Manager and Training Coordinator while conducting regional audits and supporting new openings with 30–50% travel.

Required Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of training leadership in a multi-unit restaurant environment (minimum 15+ units)
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Business
  • CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development)
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise LMS platforms (e.g., Wisetail, Schoox, HotSchedules Train)
  • Expert knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva)
  • Ability to present data-driven results to C-suite executives
  • Ability to present data-driven results to hourly staff
  • Ability to travel 30–50%
