Job Summary
Director of the Center for Instructional Innovation and Associate Professor position at Cleary University. Lead academic initiatives across domains (Finance, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Data Management & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity). Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in multiple modalities (in person, hybrid, asynchronous); mentor adjunct faculty; contribute to AI initiatives, curriculum development, assessment, accreditation readiness; promote experiential and workforce-aligned learning; ensure instructional quality across modalities; participate in committees and student recruitment and engagement; pursue available funding. Location is on-site at Cleary University in Howell, Michigan with regular on-site presence and occasional evening/weekend work. Requires earned master’s degree; doctorate preferred; 10+ years of relevant experience; strong communication and collaboration skills; commitment to student success; familiarity with instructional technologies and LMS; ability to translate AI developments into teaching and learning across domains. Location and schedule: on-site Howell, MI; year-round faculty position with teaching requirements throughout the year. Compensation: salary commensurate with experience; benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Earned master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Doctorate or active doctoral enrollment preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience within one or more applicable domain areas.
- Knowledge of AI applications in teaching and learning.
- Experience with emerging technologies, including AI, in education.
- Teaching experience in higher education, training, or professional development environments.
- Ability to mentor, coach, or support teams in academic or professional environments.
- Familiarity with instructional technologies and learning management systems across multiple modalities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student success and workforce-ready education.
- Experience with curriculum development, assessment, or accreditation processes.
