Job Summary
Director of the Card Office provides leadership and administrative oversight for the University’s comprehensive identification card program. This role manages the credentialing system and integrates card technologies with campus partners (Housing, Dining, Information Technology). It leads strategic adoption of emerging technologies to enhance access, security, and the student experience, and ensures a user-centric experience for students, faculty, staff, and affiliates. Regular, reliable attendance and the ability to foster collegial relationships are essential, as is managing internal partnerships and driving continuous improvement across high-volume operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in a university card office, or a related high-volume operations environment
- Demonstrated experience managing professional staff and departmental budgets
- Proficiency with enterprise-level ID industry software (e.g., Atrium, Transact, CBORD)
