Job Summary
Develop and implement the District's long-term IT strategic vision to align with educational and administrative business goals. Lead and oversee strategic and tactical technology operations, including educational technology, data networks, cloud services, systems security, and vendor contract management. Establish IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and efficient operations, while regularly auditing systems to maintain reliability and user service levels. Manage site technicians and department staff, coordinate cross-departmental efforts to optimize technology in instruction, and oversee the daily management of operating systems, network connectivity, and databases to enhance student achievement and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Education or related area from four-year College or university
- 5+ years of progressive, relevant information technology experience in IT infrastructure, strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development, managing a diverse technology group including database management, network, programmers, technology support and SIS teams
- Experience leading, developing, implementing, and operating technology solutions in a complex systems and operational environment
- Professional level experience with technology in the public sector
