Job Summary
Oversee CHSofNJ's technology environment, including hardware, software, telecommunications, and third-party platforms, while directing the agency's relationship with its managed service provider. Lead technology projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements to ensure a secure environment aligned with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. Serve as administrator of the electronic health record and establish standards for data quality, governance, and reporting tools for funders and leadership. Supervise the IT Technician and partner with the Quality Assurance Program Administrator to support compliance, accreditation, and quality improvement efforts. Establish clear priorities and foster collaboration across technology, quality improvement, and administrative functions. Partner with the COO to shape responsible AI adoption and align technology investments with organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 or more years' experience working in the technology and data sector
- Experience administering complex databases, EHR systems, or case management platforms
- Experience producing and analyzing data for executive leadership, funders, licensing bodies, or governing boards
- Experience managing technology vendors and external service providers
- Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading technology, reporting, or data management initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, human services, behavioral health, foster care, adoption, or child welfare settings
- Supervisory experience
- Experience supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Experience implementing organizational reporting systems, dashboards, or data governance frameworks
