Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting

Own and lead the company's technical accounting function, researching, documenting, and operationalizing positions for complex transactions including ASC 606, stock-based compensation, debt/equity, and M&A. Prepare and review SEC filings such as 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and the S-1 to ensure GAAP and SEC compliance, while personally drafting technical memos, reporting schedules, and key disclosures. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, FP&A, HR, and other teams to drive IPO readiness, execute financial reporting milestones, and support SOX readiness through internal control documentation. Interface directly with external auditors with full ownership over technical accounting matters and financial statements, while developing and maintaining accounting policies to ensure organizational consistency. This hands-on leadership role supports Swoop's growth as a market leader in AI-driven healthcare engagement, leveraging recent acquisitions like MyHealthTeam and Nimble to revolutionize how brands connect with patients and HCPs.
