Job Summary
Director of Talent Management & Leadership Development to lead and implement fair, inclusive performance appraisal systems and a comprehensive leadership development program across an organization serving the community. Responsibilities include partnering with clinical and operations leadership to analyze performance factors, identify gaps, and drive systematic improvements; conducting employee job satisfaction surveys with VP; performing statistical analyses and generating reports to enhance retention; developing leadership programs for early to senior leaders; aligning programs with defined competencies and expanding to executive levels; overseeing talent reviews and analytics; managing projects with milestones, and establishing the Talent Management function. Travel is required within NYC boroughs. Required: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in leadership development and management training; strong facilitation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration skills; Master’s degree strongly preferred; experience in non-profit/social services sectors is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, education or related field and 5 year experience creating, leading, and facilitating management and professional development sessions for leaders at every level of an organization required.
- Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Management experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of learning and development methodology and strategy, program/curriculum design, mentoring, facilitation, organizational development, and consulting.
- Excel in collaboration and partnership-building.
- Travel required within NYC boroughs.
