Job Summary
Champion the Inn at Mattei's Tavern's culture by assembling best-in-class teams, managing business risks, and leading talent development to support growth. Strategize with the General Manager and Executive Committee on hotel goals, implement process improvements, ensure appropriate staffing levels, and coach performance to deliver heartfelt service. Attract top talent by building a pipeline of hospitality professionals, creating an inclusive onboarding process, and developing a competitive compensation structure. Demonstrate financial acumen by managing budgets for events and programming while ensuring compliance with labor statutes. Address employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution to foster a respectful environment. Maintain deep engagement through daily department visits, rallies, and a robust events calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated history of building and supporting a winning team, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
- Demonstrated HR leadership experience and capability
- 5 years of progressive HR experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Strong HRIS/ATS/Payroll system experience preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
