Job Summary
Champion the hotel's culture and lead talent management by assembling best-in-class teams, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and developing a competitive compensation structure. Attract top hospitality professionals through career fairs and seamless onboarding, while maintaining a deep understanding of engagement metrics to drive retention. Create a vibrant team environment by demonstrating daily presence in departments, fostering open feedback loops, and launching recognition and incentive programs. Manage business risks, lead talent development initiatives, and address employee relations issues in alignment with brand values. Utilize sound financial decision-making to oversee budgets and ensure compliance with labor statutes. Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and Executive Committee for goal setting and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Demonstrated HR leadership experience and capability
Desired Qualifications
- Strong HRIS/ATS/Payroll system experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Demonstrated history of building and supporting a winning team, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
