Job Summary
Foster collaborative communication across investment and non-investment teams, including accounting, compliance, operations, real estate, and technology. Design and lead the onboarding process for new Portfolio Managers and Analysts while maintaining and communicating PM budgets. Manage data across investment teams and prioritize workstreams to promote a unified, seamless approach for all PMs on the platform. Contribute to the design, management, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across risk, valuation systems, and the execution platform. This strategic role supports Schonfeld's internal and external investment teams to accelerate PM performance through improved platform services and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within financial services
- Project Management of large, multi-departmental / stakeholder initiatives
- Familiarity with interacting with investment personnel
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information
- Operational Excellence; Highly organized, responsive, alert with sound judgement
- Strategic thinking
- A focus on self-improvement; Self-reflective and intellectually curious
- Systematic investing (StatArb, HFT, Index strategies)
- Electronic trading; global market structure
- Interfacing with Front-office trading technology
- Understanding around Software development/software architecture
- Equities and Futures
- Understanding of the multi-manager hedge-fund environment
