Job Summary
Coordinate patient care across departments and assess units, patients, and staff to ensure high-quality care. Assume 24-hour responsibility for unit activities while performing prompt management duties for units under supervision. Deliver direct patient care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Evaluate staff and unit performance to enhance overall effectiveness and initiate self-development mechanisms for continuous professional growth. Obtain BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and maintain current licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Nursing. Requires five years of nursing experience including one year in management.
