Director of Surgical Services

Oversee overall operations of the surgical services department, including staffing, budgeting, and performance management. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and hospital policies. Support development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices while monitoring patient flow, throughput, and volume forecasting. Manage staffing models, scheduling, and productivity across surgical services. Oversee supply and equipment utilization to support cost-effective operations. Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to evaluate and grow surgical service lines. Lead recruitment, retention, and development of surgical services staff and leaders. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to support safe, patient-centered care. Identify opportunities to improve quality outcomes, efficiency, and operational performance.
