Director of Surgical Services

Ensure safe patient care in the perioperative arena by articulating, educating, and managing evidence-based patient safety practices consistently. Manage the business of perioperative services effectively by participating in annual budget development, monitoring budget performance, complying with labor laws, and applying continuous quality improvement. Lead the caregiver team through recruitment, on-boarding, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning while maintaining a healing environment with low noise levels and clean work areas. Demonstrate ethical behavior, professional accountability, and strategic decision-making skills across the organization. Requires a BSN, NC registration, and two years of surgical service line supervision experience.
