Director of Surgery

Lead the leadership and management of surgical departments including the Pre-Anesthesia Area, Operating Rooms, PACU, Endoscopy Suite, and Sterile Processing. Organize, delegate, and facilitate activities while maintaining an active presence to support physicians, nursing, and caregivers. Enhance satisfaction and drive continuous systems improvement initiatives by collaborating with the medical staff to address clinical opportunities and operational concerns. Manage fiscal stewardship, forecasting, human resources, and workplace safety while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Evaluate new procedures, equipment, and techniques with surgery caregivers to optimize the overall operation. Maintain established policies, standards, and safety management protocols while investigating patient concerns to improve practice. Direct reports include administrative, nursing, and technical staff across operating rooms and pain management services. Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, current MN RN license, and minimum five years of surgery department experience.
