Director of Supply Chain

Job Summary
Develop long-term supply and capacity plans, manage the annual supply chain budget, and own weekly/monthly demand planning and forecasting processes. Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management to ensure security of supply and competitive pricing. Oversee customer order management and fulfillment, ensuring service level targets and OTIF performance while mitigating supply chain risks. Establish inventory policies, safety stock strategies, and replenishment parameters to support customer service and inventory targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, inventory management, logistics, and customer service to improve service, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. Manage direct reports including the Manager of Supply Chain and Manager of Warehouse.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain (or related discipline)
- Minimum 5-10 years of supply chain experience
- Proven expertise in transport optimization
- Ability to lead and engage cross functional teams
- Must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast-paced and changing workplace environment with a desire to make a strong impact on the business
- Must have excellent initiative, be a self-starter with a keen attention to details
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and make judgments, and a sense of urgency will be important to the candidate's success
Desired Qualifications
- ERP implementation experience is preferred but not required
- Experience within the food industry is preferred but not required
