Job Summary
Director of Supply Chain oversees end-to-end operations within a fast-moving food production environment, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and production planning. Responsible for driving efficiency, managing costs, and ensuring reliable product distribution through effective sales and operations planning and inventory strategies. Leverages ERP systems and data insights to enable informed decision-making and operational visibility, and ensures compliance with safety, transportation, and food handling regulations while leading continuous improvement efforts to align with quality and financial targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience implementing and leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and inventory planning/optimization systems
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly beneficial)
- Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA food safety requirements, HACCP, OSHA, and DOT regulations for transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and supplier negotiations
