Job Summary
Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, subcontracts, material flow, inventory, and warehousing across multiple sites and programs in a senior leadership capacity. You will develop and implement supply chain strategies to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets, build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate complex terms, collaborate cross-functionally to drive best practices, set and monitor KPIs, manage and grow a team, mitigate risks, optimize material flow, and support bid responses, with travel up to 20% and eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in aerospace & defense, propulsion, or regulated manufacturing
- Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and warehouse/inventory operations
- Deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and defense contracting practices
- Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and deliver results on cost, schedule, and quality
- Experience scaling supply chain organizations during high growth or production ramps
- Executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
