Director of Student Financial Services, MnSCU Academic Supervisor 2

As the Director of Student Financial Services at M State, lead the strategic design and execution of a comprehensive student financial services ecosystem—overseeing financial aid, compliance, budgeting, and financial communications to support access, affordability, and student success. Drive transformation from traditional financial aid administration to an integrated framework aligning enrollment management, affordability strategies, and family/stakeholder engagement. Provide visionary leadership, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance (Title IV, FAFSA, audits), manage systems and data analytics across financial aid operations, and collaborate with Enrollment Management, Admissions, and campus partners to optimize the student financial journey from prospect through completion. Develop policies, governance frameworks, and a proactive financial literacy and outreach program; lead budgeting, performance metrics, and strategic communication efforts to strengthen institutional effectiveness and community trust. Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce barriers to persistence and ensure transparent, accessible financial guidance throughout the student lifecycle, while upholding equity and inclusion in opportunities for all students.
