Director of Strategy, Small Law

Job Summary
Lead development and execution of the Small Law segment's strategic plan, identifying new market opportunities and shaping strategic priorities to drive sustainable revenue growth. Synthesize data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to build business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses that inform the product roadmap and executive decision-making. Monitor market trends and operational metrics to evaluate strategic investments, while leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Prepare Board-quality presentations and recommendations for senior leadership, supporting due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions. Report weekly to the Vice President & General Manager in the Miamisburg, Ohio office.
Required Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business strategy, investment banking, corporate development, or related strategic roles
- Demonstrated success developing and executing business strategies that drive measurable growth and business performance
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience building financial models, business cases, and executive-level analyses
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Team members are required to be in the Miamisburg, Ohio office weekly on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within SaaS, B2B software, technology, or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred
- Experience in legal technology, legal services, or adjacent professional services markets is a plus
