Job Summary
Director of Strategic Partnerships leads the development, growth, and stewardship of strategic partnerships that advance AVANCE’s program expansion, revenue diversification, and long-term sustainability. This role collaborates with the Chief Development Officer and Chief Executive Officer to identify, cultivate, negotiate, and manage high-impact partnerships, steward relationships across the early childhood ecosystem, and position AVANCE as a leading partner through brand positioning, market visibility at conferences and events, and data-informed performance improvement. Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new partnerships, developing long-term growth strategies with executive leadership, negotiating agreements, managing partner relationships, creating customized strategic plans for partners, and representing AVANCE externally to advance mission-driven outcomes. Required skills include strategic thinking, strong negotiation, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate across departments to drive organizational growth. The role requires travel up to 40% of the time and a bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred. The position is remote within Texas. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
