Job Summary

Deliver a complete spiritual care program to patients, residents, loved ones, and staff across all faith traditions. Supervise institutional employees and chaplains while providing orientation and training aligned with departmental standards. Manage office operations, including chapel scheduling, supply maintenance, and ritual item distribution. Develop administrative procedures, quality improvement plans, and financial budgets to monitor performance and correct variances. Lead interdisciplinary collaboration with social work and volunteers, ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulatory agencies. Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for assigned staff, including payroll oversight and labor law adherence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in theology, Divinity, Pastoral Studies or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressive leadership roles
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
  • Chaplain obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer
  • One or more of the following: Chaplain specializing in Cert of Endorsement obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date
  • Ability to organize and establish day-to-day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job
  • Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed and positive
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Displays integrity, friendliness, and compassion
  • Must be able to establish an appropriate and effective rapport with others
  • Demonstrates flexibility
