Job Summary

Coordinate student academic, motivational, and disciplinary activities while administering federal grant programs and creating systems to ensure the integrity of educational records. Program within budgetary constraints, keep the building safe and secure, and conduct building inspections to report needed repairs. Manage teacher evaluations and training, coordinate faculty schedules and coursework, and oversee state standardized testing and transition plans. Fulfill parental, Board of Education, agency, and administrative requests while advancing the organization's reputation through professional and foundation group participation. Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and the Code of Character.

Required Qualifications

  • CT 092 Intermediate and Administration and Supervision Certification
  • Degree in Special Education
  • Master's degree in Leadership and Supervision
  • One of the following endorsement areas: Comprehensive special education (CT 065 or 165 Certification)
  • One of the following endorsement areas: A specific area of disability
  • One of the following endorsement areas: An area of pupil personnel services (school social work, school psychological services, school speech and hearing services, school guidance and counseling services, and school health services)
  • Drug screening required
