Job Summary
Direct spa operations at Marriott International, supervising all spa programs, services, hours of operation, facilities and staff across salon, skin care, fitness and wellness, massage, and reservations. Lead department with management team and hourly staff to deliver services, drive guest and employee satisfaction, and maximize department financial performance. Responsibilities include selecting and managing spa retail vendors, overseeing product research and purchasing, inventory control, monitoring spa sales to meet revenue goals, maintaining cleanliness of spa facilities, and delivering exceptional guest service. Additional duties cover group services and spa promotions, development of promotional campaigns and holiday events, payroll and budgeting oversight, cost control of spa operating expenses, staff recruitment and HR processes, performance appraisals, employee development, open-door communications, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; with 2 years experience in spa, guest services, front desk, sales and marketing, or related professional area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
