Job Summary
Lead a team of architects and developers to design and develop software applications and systems per business demands. Allocate resources based on Scrum team requests and validate utilization for efficient deployment. Manage personnel development by meeting regularly for feedback, observing work in Scrum meetings, and providing ongoing career counseling. Act as an evangelist for product architecture while maintaining hands-on technical contributions to design, development, and integration. Serve as a technology advisor to the business on software trends and novel solutions, implementing operational policies and directives to ensure market competitiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines
- 8+ years of software development of commercial-grade systems and applications with a proven track record of building and leading successful engineering teams
- At least 6 years of design experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with .NET technologies, such as C# or other Object Oriented Languages
- Knowledge of REST or SOAP architecture
- Experience in an Agile development environment
- At least 3 years' experience managing architects and developers in a commercial software environment
