Job Summary
Director of Software Engineering for Post Trade Technology leads technology strategies and decision-making across post-trade systems, delivering governance of coding decisions, cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations. Drives multiple complex projects and initiatives in trade processing, clearing and settlement, collateral management, and regulatory reporting, while influencing senior stakeholders and fostering innovation, Cloud-native practices, and product-management alignment. The role requires hands-on software engineering leadership, cross-functional team mentorship, and a track record of delivering scalable technical solutions across multiple businesses and domains.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering
- 5+ years leading technologists and cross-functional teams
- Hands-on coding experience
- Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists
- Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
- Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Practical cloud native experience
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
