Job Summary
Develop and implement the engineering roadmap to translate product vision into scalable systems while overseeing the full software development lifecycle from sprint planning to deployment. Lead, mentor, and scale diverse engineering teams by establishing clear roles, expectations, and growth paths for managers, developers, and automation specialists. Drive adoption of Robotic Process Automation and intelligent workflow solutions to streamline banking operations, while designing data pipelines and ETL frameworks to enable real-time analytics and AI-driven insights. Manage departmental budget, headcount planning, and resource allocation to maximize ROI across multiple projects. Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, business units, and executive stakeholders to define requirements and ensure seamless execution. Ensure all software applications adhere to strict security policies and federal banking regulatory requirements including BSA, OFAC, and CIP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing cross-functional technical teams
- Proven expertise in modern programming languages (Java, Python, Full Stack)
- Software design patterns relevant to financial applications
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Developing distributed, microservices-based architectures
- Demonstrated success in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Modern DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
- Intelligent automation strategies
- Strong knowledge of data architecture
- ETL pipelines
- Data lakes
- Real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark)
- Deep knowledge of the financial services industry
- Understanding of transaction processing
- Data security standards
- Regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Hands-on troubleshooting abilities of complex problems

Desired Qualifications
