Job Summary
Director-level software engineering leader for JPMorgan Chase’s Engineer's Observability Platforms team. Lead a technical area, drive impact across teams, technologies, and projects firm-wide, and serve as a primary decision maker for the group. Drive AIOps strategy and solution delivery, influence vendor roadmaps and governance around coding decisions, cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to advance the firm’s observability initiatives, champion diversity and inclusion, and guide cross-functional teams through system design, automation, and cloud infrastructure efforts using platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and others.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists in large-scale Observability Platforms
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications installation and configuration automation
- Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of AWS infrastructure or other cloud design and implementation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with observability tools and platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, etc.)
