Job Summary
As Director of Social Services at Cedars Healthcare Center, you will be responsible for the performance of all social and psycho-social functions, counsel residents and families, advocate for residents, and work in harmony with direct care staff to ensure residents’ psychosocial wellbeing. The role requires a Masters in Social Services, a state license, and 3-5 years of healthcare experience, with leadership and program development responsibilities to enrich residents’ lives with dignity, joy, and meaning.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year college degree in Social Work or related field
- Masters in Social Services Required
- Licensed by the State Licensure exam through the State Social Worker and Counselor Board
- 3-5 years of prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting
