Job Summary
Director of Social Services position at Sellersburg Healthcare Center (IN) – Full-time day shift. You will be responsible for the performance of all social and psycho-social functions, develop and maintain good working rapport with other direct caregivers, counsel family members, residents, and/or staff members, and serve as the resident’s advocate while collaborating with direct care staff to ensure residents’ psychosocial wellbeing. The role supports an environment focused on person-centered care within a post-acute care setting under the CommuniCare family of facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year college degree in Social Work / Social Services field
- Must be licensed by the State Licensure exam through the State Social Worker and Counselor Board
- at least one year of long term care experience
